Title: "UNITAR's Experience in Peace Building, State building and International Assistance."
Dr. Yagya.Prasad.ADHIKARI (Executive Director, CNAS, Tribhuvan University)
Title: "State-building in Nepal: A Bottom-up Perspective."
The 25th HiPeC Seminar which has the title of "Peacebuilding, State-building and International Assistance" was sucessfully ended yesterday.
At this seminar that hung up "peace building and national reconstruction, and international assistance" over the title, the first guest speaker, Mr. Alexander MEJIA(UNITAR Hiroshima office head) presented his very impressive material to us.
He presented clearly the role which the Hiroshima office should bear in the whole international support activity, after having the old U.N. missions recollected from a very critical viewpoint.
Next, Dr. Y.P. ADHIKARI(CNAS Executive Director) presented the sketch to the state building from the bottom-up approach under the deep discernment based on the results of his area studies for peace building process in Nepal.
Very significant knowledge was able to be shared by two guests.
Moreover, Dr. Adhikari came from afar from long distance Nepal.
