【概要】：本研究会では、平和構築を専門とする国際関係研究者と、フィールドワークを主体とする地域研究者が意見を持ち寄り、南アジアの地域紛争に対するアプローチを対比的に検討する場を持った。最初の登壇者である山根達郎氏は、“新しい戦争・国家の失敗・“和平合意”という3つの切り口からスリランカ民族紛争の終結プロセスと今後の課題を統合的に提示した。次に登壇した明治学院大学国際平和研究所の木村真希子氏は、土地所有をめぐって争われるインド北東部の熾烈な民族間抗争の特質をふまえ、あるべき平和構築支援の方向性について一定の見取り図を示した。二人のゲストの発表から、
南アジア地域を舞台とした民族紛争の発端と展開に一定の共通事項
が見出されたと同時に、その終息に向けて、スリランカの事例がどの
程度他地域に参照可能となるのかについても、コメンテーターからの
論点提起を踏まえ、活発な討議が交わされた。

【Outline】：In this seminar, the international-relations researcher who makes Peacebuilding a speciality, and the area-studies scholar who makes fieldwork a subject gathered their opinion, and considers approaches against the regional conflict of South Asia contrastively.
Yamane Tatsuro presented the conclusion process of ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka, and explained the future subject integrative from three perspectives of "New War”, “Failure State" and "Peace Accord".
Next, Kimura Makiko showed the sketch about the direction of the Peacebuilding support which should be offered based on the special feature of the violent strife between minorities in northeastern India over land ownership.
